King Ecgbert students and staff celebrating another stellar set of exam results

Despite the difficult times and the changes to the exam system this year, King Ecgbert School is celebrating the superb results awarded to their A level, BTEC and GCSE students this week and last.

King Ecgbert students and teachers celebrating another stellar set of exam results.

The school, consistently high performing, was able to give very accurate data to exam boards which has resulted in a continuation of the upward trend of results seen in recent years.

Headteacher Paul Haigh said

“At the end of a very tough school year for our students and their families it is heartening that they can look to a brighter future knowing their record breaking exam results combined with the experiences we have given students over their time with us means we have been able to set them up for life. As a school holding the World Class Schools Quality Mark that’s always what we’ve been about.”

He added “Although it’s a shame we couldn’t welcome our students into school to collect their results when handshakes and hugs are normally the order of the day our results were delivered to students by our online system and careers staff will be available on the phone and email to support students with accessing the next step in life.”
