Careers

At King Ecgbert School we believe all students should be provided with personalised careers guidance which will allow them to make informed choices about which courses suit their academic needs and aspirations. This will ensure they are suitably prepared for the next stage in their education, training or employment and have attained relevant qualifications. Our Careers provision aims to ensure our students leave King Ecgbert School on a career path that will lead to a bright and prosperous future.

Our current main priority is to minimise the impact of COVID 19 on our students' opportunities to learn about the world of work and the ability to make informed choices at key transition stages.

We are in the process of updating our Careers Programme to guide us through the current circumstances and still be able to work towards meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Mr Fennell is our Careers Leader and co-ordinates all careers-based provision within school and can be contacted directly on pfennell@ecgbert.sheffield.sch.uk

Our careers provision is under regular review throughout the year.
