Key Stage 5 Examination Results
Attainment at A Level was significantly above the national average (53.1% in 2017) with 66% of grades at A*-B and is the highest the school has achieved. When expressed as a grade the average A Level grade in 2018 was B-.
Our overall Alps grade of 2 puts us in the top 10% of school nationally in terms of the progress of our students. We also had 31% of students attain AAB in at least 2 facilitating subjects (the facilitating subjects are English Literature, Geography, History, Modern and Classical Languages, Maths and Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics).
The attainment of BTEC students continues to be very high with 88% receiving D-D* (Distinction- Distinction*).
The BTEC results showed outstanding progress with an overall Alps T score of a 3 (progress in the top 10% nationally).
