Exams
King Ecgbert is committed to making every effort to ensure that students are as well-informed as possible for their examinations. We also endeavour to make sure that exams are carried out in a way that reduces as much stress as possible for students, so that we can help them to achieve their very best. In order to do this, it is important that they are well-informed about their examinations.
In this section you will therefore find exam timetables, information for candidates issued by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), links to the exam boards used by the school and also hints and tips for revision.
Our Exams Officer is Mrs Payne, and she can be contacted at school between 8am and 3pm.
Morning exams will always start at 9.00 am and students are expected to be in school at 8.30am.
Afternoon exams start at 1.15pm and students need to be here no later than 12.30pm.

As part of the exam regulations set out by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) students need to be aware of key documents with regards to examinations and any non-examined assessment as part of the course.
